On January 23, 2023, Southern States Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a
press release announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter ended
December 31, 2022 (the “Earnings Release”). A copy of the Earnings Release is
furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K (this “Report”).
The information set forth under Item 7.01 is also furnished pursuant to this
Item 2.02

The Company has prepared a presentation of its results for the fourth quarter
ended December 31, 2022 (the “Presentation”) to be used from time to time during
meetings with members of the investment community. A copy of the Presentation is
furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Report. The Presentation will also be made

ir.southernstatesbank.net under the Presentations section.
