Blog: FCA taps Ruairi O’Connell to lead post-Brexit strategy – Pensions & Investments

Ruairi O’Connell was appointed director, international for the Financial Conduct Authority, the U.K. regulator said Friday in a news release.

Mr. O’Connell held a similar position with the British government’s Home Office. He has also served in the Foreign Office, including as ambassador to Kosovo.

His new role at FCA will be helping to shape its international strategy and overseeing international engagement “including matters arising from the U.K. withdrawal from the EU,” the FCA release said.
