Blog: Insurance sector should prepare for Brexit – Business Insurance

The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority has urged the insurance sector to prepare and implement contingency plans ahead of Dec. 31, the end of the Brexit transition period, Xprimm reports. The insurance sector needs to be prepared for the consequences of U.K. and Gibraltar insurers no longer benefiting from the Solvency II authorization to provide services in the European Union.
